No buddy the crown for lying belongs to Trump and his GOP cult followers who enable his 30 k plus and growing body of verified lies.

Please offer a citation for each of these “30k plus ‘verified’ lies” that you claim exist. Because without offering any proof of each one, your claim sounds absolutely preposterous.

Anonymous wrote:For those of you engaging in whataboutism....... this thread is specifically about the special counsel report on BIDEN'S possession of classified documents.

The report was damning. It is clear that Joe does NOT have respect for classified documents as he has claimed numerous times.
And, the fact that they are choosing not to charge him because he is of diminished capacity is just insane.
Reminds me of Comey and the Hillary Clinton investigation where he said "no reasonable prosecutor would" take the case.
It is a breathtaking blatant reminder of the double standards when it comes to prosecuting.
Amazing, really.

And, remember this...... for those of you saying that you don't care about Joe's memory and his cognitive issues and that he surrounds himself with "capable" people......... there are some things that the president is responsible for that cannot be simply passed of to a cabinet member or staffer.
He holds the nuclear codes. He is expected to sit across the table from other world leaders - both allies and adversaries.
It is actually frightening to think about these things.

Damning is the guy who has 91 counts pending against him along with losing his business for fraud after already having lost elections, a university a foundation, an airline and two wives.

This report says there were irregularities but nothing prosecutable. End of story.

Well now those counts are actually a plus because apparently prosecutors believe Trump is mentally capable of standing trial. Can’t say the same for Biden. He is too diminished to stand trial based on Hurs interviews with him and based on listening to his the transcripts of Biden revealing classified documents to and being interviewed by his ghost writer 7 years ago!! Biden was so bad even back then!!! If you really believed it was all just a “stutter” as people said in 2020, I have some land in the Everglades to sell you.

You understand that Hur is a right wing appointed political hack, right?

He didn’t conduct the interview in 2017. He didn’t tell Biden what to say. Biden is the problem, not Hur. And frankly, spare me the histrionics about Hur. Jack Smith is a strident lefty and on a crusade to bring down Trump. Why is that ok and yet having Hur investigate Biden so outrageous. At least Hur made the proper call to NOT prosecute. Smith, like his buddy Comey before him, is a self-promoter who wants to be part of the story and make a name for himself. Comey went after Martha Stewart and put her in jail for doing something people do all the time and just pay a fine. But no, he had to put Martha in jail. That is how Smith is. Smith went after thr former governor of Virginia entirely to make a name and the conviction was ultimate tossed because it was so ridiculous. He is 100% motivated by politics and self aggrandizement. Puh-lease stop pretending Hur did anything wrong. He did the country and frankly the Democratic Party a favor by stating what we all know. Biden is not fit for reelection and the DNC needs to fix this asap.

If you want to play history, let's talk about sweeping iran-contra under the rug; let's talk about Starr starting with Whitewater and ending up with Lewinski; let's talk about sweeping Iraq invasion under the rug and WMD lies that induced a trillion dollar war, let's talk about rogue special pprsecutors dogging dem politicians and ignoring GOP crimes for decades. But sure, Trump is totally innocent and never did anything shady or illegal in his life.

Spare me.

Despite what I think of your post...... We are talking about PRESENT day issues now. Stop living in the past.
We are looking at two different special counsels who have lifted the veil on the different standards of justice we are currently seeing.
One is charged for the SAME CRIME that the other committed. But, he gets a pass.
This is not justice.

They aren't different standards of justice. One guy opened the kimodo, returned documents and was open to interviews for him and is staff. The other guy lied, moved boxes to avoid detection, STILL HAS DOCUMENTS, and had staff lie to the FBI and DOJ. they are not the same and hence not different standards. Had trump given ALL of the documents back when first asked, he wouldn't have the issues on that Florida case today. That is a him problem.

Returning them when told to after willfully and knowingly retaining them for years is still a crime

I’m glad you agree Trump taking classified documents is a crime.

Trump was President, not a Senator

This fact gets glossed over so much. Biden had no legal authority to take docs from his time as senator or VP. He was breaking the law taking and possessing those documents and we know he had docs from his time as both senator and VP. That was clearly criminal and it doesn’t matter if the documents were locked up or whatever. They were not his to take.

Read page 6 of the report. There are innocent explanations as to why he had the documents that cannot be refuted. That means there’s no way to prosecute.

Ok, so he IS clear headed and capable of going to trial? Let’s do that then.

The report found no evidence of wrongdoing that would necessitate a trial, though. Sorry.

DP - the Trumpers don’t care about lack of evidence. They are concerned with projecting false equivalences as Trump instructed them to do. As various of his admin staff observed, when accused of crimes, Trump accuses his rivals of committing the same crimes.

That’s not what the report said. The report said that Biden broke the law, but not worth bringing the case because the jury would likely view him as a sympathetic elderly man with memory problems

Speculation.

No buddy the crown for lying belongs to Trump and his GOP cult followers who enable his 30 k plus and growing body of verified lies, extensive business fraud, violent government rebellion.

The guy misrepresents literally everything from losing the 2020 election fair and square, to his economic performance to the size of crowds he attracts to his wealth and even his height and size of hands. There is nothing he won’t lie about.

Both can be true, Buddy. I hate Trump. But the defense of Biden as wholly in control of his faculties is as big a lie as I have ever seen. He is done and the people who are trying to gaslight everyone else into thinking he is fine are not helping themselves nor are they helping the country. Much as I cannot stand her either, the 25th Amendment she be invoked and Harris should step in.

Right after states are allowed to knock the disgraceful insurrectionist off the ballot as required by the constitution’s 14th amendment …

Yeah, you’re likely gonna lose that one 8-1 or 9-0. You’re having a bad week.

The country is having a very bad week .

Checks and balances to power undermined again and special counsel spewing a partisan hit job …

Special counsel Robert Hur was lauded by the beloved Merrick Garland.

+1
So ironic that the PP chooses to claim this is a "partisan hit job."

By Democrats. Not by Republicans. We’re content to leave him in office and let him run.

And yet Biden has been more productive and more effective than any President since the New Deal despite a dysfunctional Congress and an obstructionist Supreme Court.

Are you high? Afghanistan withdrawal? Illegal immigration to a point where even Democratic Mayors are calling it a crisis? Inflation out of control? Corruption by engaging in his sons business deals? C’mon. Oh, and he is absolutely 100% senile.

Biden is not even close to 100% senile.

Fine. Then he is fit to stand trial.

Is that what you’re saying?

Oh goody, finally something to distract from Republicans self own in the Sentate and House. Republicans who have ZERO interest and ZERO ability to govern. Their Jezus leader is a criminal and inept. We are just days away from a government shutdown that will require more Democrats to bail MAGA out of their mess. In the meantime, MAGA GAP in states continue to pass horrific abortion bans (Missouri State senate think having a baby from a rape can be a way to heal), and guns is the biggest killer of our children. Hunky Dory for MAGA.

The majority don’t want MAGA. The majority don’t want Trump. You can keep posting here but we see you, you too Mr. Hur.

So you’re voting for JFK or Cornell West? Maybe Jill Stein? Because these are the options.

Biden's amazing accomplishments grow by the day. He's the best president in my lifetime.

What "worries" me is we might get the worst president of my lifetime, Trump, back because we haven't put him in prison yet.

Trial for what? No wrongdoing. Report was clear on it.

Go back in your hole.

Trump’s false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/01/24/trumps-false-or-misleading-claims-total-30573-over-four-years/

When The Washington Post Fact Checker team first started cataloguing President Donald Trump’s false or misleading claims, we recorded 492 suspect claims in the first 100 days of his presidency. On Nov. 2 alone, the day before the 2020 vote, Trump made 503 false or misleading claims as he barnstormed across the country in a desperate effort to win reelection.
This astonishing jump in falsehoods is the story of Trump’s tumultuous reign. By the end of his term, Trump had accumulated 30,573 untruths during his presidency — averaging about 21 erroneous claims a day.

False or misleading statements by Donald Trump

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_or_misleading_statements_by_Donald_Trump

During and after his term as President of the United States, Donald Trump made tens of thousands of false or misleading claims. The Washington Post's fact-checkers documented 30,573 false or misleading claims during his presidential term, an average of about 21 per day.[1][5][6][7] The Toronto Star tallied 5,276 false claims from January 2017 to June 2019, an average of 6.1 per day.[2] Commentators and fact-checkers have described the scale of Trump's mendacity as "unprecedented" in American politics,[13] and the consistency of falsehoods a distinctive part of his business and political identities.[14] Scholarly analysis of Trump's tweets found "significant evidence" of an intent to deceive.[15

I do too. I really believe there will be some kind of event that makes it so these are not our choices. And maybe we are witnessing that event right now.
