I would say either Breaking Bad or the Sopranos. Probably the Sopranos though. Tough call. Both incredibly good and I could watch from start to finish a million times over again.
What do you say? |
| sopranos would have my vote. i have watched the series prob 3-4 times and the acting is just so so good. Im also a huge fan of Big Love. I think ER and Twin Peaks could be considered some of the best dramas of all time too. |
| The Wire and Sopranos |
|
The Wire.
The Sopranos and Breaking Bad are overrated. Violence and shock value passing for character development and art. |
disagree. carmella and tony are some of the most complex characters ever written. |
There is a lot of violence on Breaking Bad, but it is not a substitute for character development. BB has excellent character development. |
| The Shield. |
| Wire - first two seasons, slipped after that. |
| The Good Wife, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, and possibly Mad Men. |
OMG - never, ever "The Good Wife"!! So trite! |
This. And, The Wire |
|
The Sopranos, Mad Men, The West Wing
|
Really? I found it quite unusual. |
| I'll agree with Breaking BAd and the Wire, but I'd also add Friday Night Lights and Battlestar Gallactica (reboot) to the conversation. |
| NYPD Blue |
