Then find a different forum, since our opinions are not worthy of discussion. We’re the people, and are just as entitled to opinions. There are two sides to this case, the actual legal process and how a jury of public men and women would respond to the evidence and facts of this case as presented. Through a preponderance of the evidence, non of what BL has shared seems reasonable enough to state a claim for SH. I just provided the why some jurors might support this. You’re entitled to continue hammering thru the legal side. But the jury decides at the end of the day. |
It is impossible to take you seriously with comments like the bolded. Do you even hear yourself? You sound insane. |
It’s the retaliation claim that is strong. |
DP and I disagree with you calling this poster insane. |
I think you can’t see what many of us can see. That’s why I said that without even seeing the delivery scene, that I bet the doctor guy BL had complained about was a POC. I just saw the scene online. I was right. All I can say is that I have experience with a lot of what I’ve stated. I interact with a lot of people. I knew nothing about BL but looked at this case legally and could not connect her argument. Again, a nothingburger assuming you looked at it one way which is how I did, thinking that JH was white. Once I saw that pic, it all made sense. Let’s see if the JS details come to light. But so far, legally and in the court of public opinion, just not seeing the SH. As for the TikTok video, it was actually pretty decent and informative. And I think perhaps the third tik tok video that I’ve ever watched. It’s on Reddit. |
Whose HR would this be? I thought Sony said they didn't receive any complaints. |
DP from all of the above and I agree with PP that that person sounds insane. |
Jamey Heath is a millionaire. He's a successful music producer who was/is CEO of a studio that has produced not only IEWU but the Will Farrell doc Will & Harper and the Garfield movie. He lives in a very nice house (well, lived, I think he is one of the people whose nice house burned down in the fire, but do you understand what houses in Palisades go for? He is not a "normal" person here). Anyway, the interaction we're talking about was between two millionaires (Jenny Slate and Jamey Heath) discussing a piece of property in NYC. And it was Heath who seemed more blasé about the 15k security deposit than Slate, indicating that this was more money to her than it was to him. A lot of you are falling prey to the idea that a the more famous a person is, the richer and more powerful they are. In reality, this is not the case. The richest, most powerful person in this story is the least famous one -- Steve Sarowitz. The next richest/most powerful is Ari Emanuel, who most of you had never heard of before. Probably next is Ryan and Blake -- both famous and very rich and Reynolds is pretty powerful. But after them is definitely Baldoni and Heath -- very wealthy and as executives at Wayfarer and director/producers on the movie, powerful within the context of this film. Plus Baldoni is famous due to his podcast, TED talk, and books, as well as from Jane the Virgin which was on a broadcast network and in which he was a lead. And then way down below them is Jenny Slate. Somewhat famous but only as a performer and writer. She's been in some more mainstream stuff but in smaller roles -- she had a small role in Parks & Rec, for instance, but was only in a handful of episodes. She had a supporting role in an FX show. She does have a Netflix comedy special but she is probably best known for doing the voice-over and cowriting Marcel the Shell, which to be clear, is a stop-motion animation movie about a shell, based on a Youtube series she did years ago. And this is what she is MOST famous for. Jenny Slate is not a power player. Just because you are more likely to have heard of her than Jamey Heath does not make her richer or more powerful than Heath. Movie sets are full of people like Heath -- wealthy, powerful producers that the average person would have no idea who they were but who have a lot of control on set. Slate had a smaller role in the movie and also has a somewhat slim resume for dramatic acting (better known for voice-over and comedy work) so this job was probably a big deal for her -- a larger budget and very wide distribution, and she was featured in the promotion for the film. A huge step up for her. When Lively was interacting with Baldoni and Heath, you can very easily argue that she had more power than they did. But when Slate was interacting with them, you can't. These men were richer and more powerful than she is, and she was very much their employee and a subordinate on that set. |
She isn’t a lawyer and isn’t claiming to be. She’s pissed that others won’t agree that BL had a cloth draped across the underside of her vulva in the birth scene and that Heath drooled looking at her topless. |
The racism jumped out there. Lord. |
You seem to have a very broad definition of person of color. How exactly are Justin Baldoni and Adam Monschein POC? |
Some people are surprised that in Blake’s 114 page amendment there is still mention of HR complaints but no evidence. Not an email even with a ton of redacted info. Not a text from the costars saying well I just filed the complaint let’s see what happens. Nothing. |
| I was curious so I looked this up. Jamie Heath is married to Natasha Heath, she works with birthing and women in postpartum through indigenous care practices. First generation Columbian. Perhaps her views on motherhood influence Heath. |
Not insane in the slightest. Tiktok sleuths were partly responsible for Freedman amending his lawsuit with new allegations coming to light about the NYT metadata. They were also allegedly the ones Blake’s team leaked the 3 HR complaints to because the news media refused to cover them out of litigious fear. |

Sam Baldoni, Justin's father is also on the payroll at Wayfarer as a senior executive consultant. He was the Chairman and CEO of Baldoni Entertainment for 37 years before joining Wayfarer as a Board Member and now an Executive Consultant.
Wayfarer does have an HR director but I haven't seen her name mentioned in anything. You would think she would have been involved in the on set meetings related to the behavioral complaints. |
