If it is the US, no, the US is not at war with Russia, nor does it have troops on the ground there. If we is NATO, then, no, NATO is not at war in Ukraine either. At the moment, The Ukrainians are trying to get the Russians to leave their country. Yes, they have help from the US and other allies, and so far, it is going pretty well. The Russians have been losing ground for months, the troops have been losing morale and the Russian military is showing to be a fat and lazy bear.

There is a building narrative on the pro-Russia side to freeze the current lines because the Russians know they can't hold the territory. Their main line of defense has been breeched, and Ukraine currently has the artillery advantage.

The truth is that he has not been accused of bribery, but many under him have been. So either something was about to be discovered with this man, or he can't handle all the others' corruption. But no one is reproaching him for mistakes in strategic military planning. Everyone understands he's done good work under immense pressure.

So with all of these things, yes, it's time for a replacement. And the replacement sure as heck is a message in itself - a Crimean Tatar!

PP you replied to. I'm French. I wish for Ukraine's victory, ie, reclaiming all the territories Russia has stolen since 2014.
