Hilaria Baldwin - At it again

Anonymous
A genealogist actually looked into Hilaria's ethnicity and found that she is: English, Welsh, German, Scottish, Irish, Czech, and French-Canadian. NO Spanish blood in her whatsoever.

You can see him egging her on to speak Spanish while her face freezes over and clearly goes blank. She's the shyster. He's just a guy who made it apparent he found her false Spanishness exotic/attractive. So she kept it up and couldn't stop.

It's almost like a 30 Rock episode where he keeps getting a date's ethnicity wrong until they just shrug to themself and agree that they are whatever he keeps saying.

He was obviously in on it, he's surrounded by lawyers, CAA, and NBC-Uni, but perhaps he overestimated her Spanish acuity. It's cute how codependent you yentas are on this scandal and all the fan fic; as if you're the only miserable SOBs in America with google prowess. Most of the actors, athletes and/or politicians you worship are pathological liars. Who freaking cares? Exposing the privileged cute trollop from Boston is not going to find you a husband or make you fertile or buy you a custom house in a premier zip. Your life remains, well, miserable.

This is so AB, don't you think? The "yentas" is a recurrent word. Trollop is an old word. (Who uses that?) And NBC-Uni is very insider-y.

+1 So Alec

and don't forget the reoccurring variations in every single post of:

Privileged, pretty girl from Boston
Privileged, gorgeous, white girl from Boston
Privileged, rich, beautiful girl from Boston

Also, it's their MO to attempt to shame us because we're not as rich as her, beautiful as her, fertile add her, etc and we're just jealous.

These posts are like mad-libs -- fill in the adjective of Hilly's that were "jealous" of & why were all sho inferior to her.

PP here. Nice catch. Furthermore, this very specific characterization that you pulled from that poster's posts sound like casting notes from scripts.

Alec looks so pathetic in that video. He so desperately wants her to be Spanish and to flaunt it.

It's not a shtick to be from another country and culture (I am an immigrant myself, though I was a kid when i came here so no accent in English and I'm white w an inconspicuous name so nobody assumes I'm anything other than a WASPy American until I mention I'm technically even actually a refugee and Semitic) and it isn't something we are leveraging in order to be perceived as "special" but is our actually legitimate identity. So for me personally it makes me feel like it twists the narrative of being proud of your cultural heritage into a ploy for self promotion and leverage somehow. It makes me feel insecure about what ppl must think when I make it clear I am something other than what they perceive- do they think it is some cloying effort on my part to stand out, like folks such as Hilaria have done? Should I now be more restrained in my outward celebration of my identity for fear of ppl trivializing it? I may be totally going down a sort of ridiculous self-doubt rabbit hole about something that doesn't actually apply to my situation and creating an internal struggle for myself for no reason, but that is what this Hilary/Hilaria fraudulent mess has done to me personally so just wanted to get that off my chest. I'm riveted by it all and cannot fathom why anyone soyld do what she has done, but damn it is uncomfy

Wonderful analysis. The thing that is different from you and this imposter, though, is that she sought high visibility publicity and is mostly all about appearances. My assumption, based on your thoughtful post, is that you have an entire, full life without having to seek validation for your physical appearance. Which brings me to my second point -- her fake identity is an accessory to the main object, her body. She's objectified herself -- and her children -- in a grotesque way. She's sexualized her maternal experience making it a fetish. I guess that's my third point. She combined the Madonna and the whore into her appearance and identity. So, if she's done damage to any immigrants, I'd be angry if I were from a Latin or South American country because she is hyper sexualizing the Spanish speaking women. But, so did/does Sofia Vergara.

So, for the most part, I do not think you would ever be confused with Hillary Thomas Hayward Baldwin by identifying yourself as an immigrant or a refugee. She's

Thank you for this response, it truly lightened by emotional weight about it. I think she was originally intending to show that yes, it is possible and awesome to be a mom while also being sexy and that just because you are a mom it does not render you sexless not diminish your ability to straddle the worlds of "madonna and whore" so i really do get that, but I think the difference is she went so far in trying to attain that and it became a little nauseating. I both feel bad for saying so and also vindicated in feeling it is a little much, so idk I'm very conflicted about a lot lol thank you so much DCUM for being so nice to me

I really believe that moms lose a huge part of themselves unexpectedly when they become mothers, and that adjustment is a lot harder than people think. But Hillary/Hilaria likely never tried to show it is possible to be a mom and be anything. She always had disturbing way about it that seemed clearly about her. Women who are trying to support and help other women and show that moms can be sexy, smart, etc do not behave like Hillary/Hilaria. That was all about her, and her needs.

I am sure they are happy with each other.

I still don't get why it was so terrible. Yes, she may have fabricated or not about Spain, but the rest of her life is pretty great. Unlike a lot of people on DCUM, they are having sex and making babies.

I know he initially defended her by posting that rambling video and then commenting on her posts but that was a couple days ago and I wonder if maybe since then he's seen more evidence and is realizing he was duped?? Or do we think he definitely knew all along? I'm dying to know how much he knew and how she spun this with him personally.

I think he wasn't necessarily duped but actually believes (in a very common American way. Probably other places too) that she is entitled to make such sweeping claims. It's one thing to say "oh i just LOVE Spain! It's a place I've been to many many times and feel totally integrated into the culture, so it feels like part of my identity" and a whole other thing to say "look, mu patents live there, it is mine". Kinda weird

Ha ha! Who is the rabid person who is the "insider"? She really hates Hillaria with her little evil heart. Who is she? I am now intrigued.

Someone expose her so that our enjoyment is complete. There is an entertaining story of revenge and jealously there.

Surely she's left to address her fertility issues, and try to make a few dollars because she's not rich like Alec.

YIKES!!! 🤢

Anonymous wrote:I think that NYT interview/article is incredible. Reading between the lines, you can tell the reporter doesn’t believe anything she says. A couple of my favorite parts:

“One of the most important places to start is this idea of boundaries,” said Ms. Baldwin, who invites social media followers into her home life with Mr. Baldwin and their five fair-haired young children by routinely sharing images like her underwear-clad workout routines, innumerable pregnancy selfies and the sponsored diaper-ad videos of her infant son.

(@lenibriscoe) said that Ms. Baldwin’s American upbringing was an open secret among many people in New York and she just decided to make it less secret. “We’re all bored and it’s just seemed so strange to me that no one had ever come out and said it, especially for someone who gets so much media attention,” said the woman, who was granted anonymity by The New York Times because she said she was scared that Mr. Baldwin, who agreed to take an anger management course in 2019 in order to dispose of charges after a fight with a man over a parking spot and has been arrested, escorted from a plane and suspended from a job as an MSNBC host, all in the last decade, would punch her. (A spokeswoman for Mr. Baldwin declined to comment.)

Ms. Baldwin first visited Spain with her parents when she was a baby, she said, and she went at least yearly thereafter. She declined to explain in detail how frequently they traveled there or how long they stayed. “I think it would be maddening to do such a tight time line of everything. You know, sometimes there was school involved. Sometimes it was vacation. It was such a mix, mishmash, is that the right word? Like a mix of different things.”

She said she didn’t think that her referring in online posts to her travel to Spain as “going home” was misleading. “Home is where my parents are going to be,” she said. “If my parents move to China, I am going to go to China and say, ‘I’m going home.’” (Though she has said her family has roots in Spain, she said she was speaking colloquially. “These people who I call my family, I am learning in this particular situation, I have to say, ‘People who we have considered to be our family.’”)

I think it’s VERY telling that her parents, her brother, CAA and even Alec refused to comment for this story.

DP. I don't think what she did is unforgivable and I think she can move past this if she fully drops her claims to being Spanish or that she came to this country at 19. I also think it's a huge leap to Rx her as a narcissist based on the scant evidence presented. I think the most likely scenario is that she reeled Alec in with a Spanish accent and then had to fully commit to it or risk the relationship. The sexualization of her daily life is probably more rooted in the fact that she was a senior member of Yoga to the People, a yoga sex club/cult, rather than being a predatory narcissist. It seems salvageable.

Ha! I almost think Alec was testing Hilaria here. He was insisting she do the interview in Spanish. He wanted to see if she was able to do it. He was doubting her ability, and she was having none of that.
