| Wow, quite lovely. She's playing it straight for once. At least so far... |
| What is up with the fake British accent though? |
| OP here. Great performance, but her tattoos looked out of place. And now here is Julie Andrews coming out giving her a big hug. Wow. |
Julie Andrews doesn't sing publicly any more, so I think Gaga was trying to channel her voice as faithfully as possible in homage. |
|
She has a beautiful voice.
|
| She looked and sounded great!! Wouldn't have recognized her had her name not been announced. |
| Beautiful voice, well sung, but a nagging part of my brain was screaming "parody," so I didn't like it. |
| Lady Gaga did a great job until she blew the last note. Julie Andrews was very gracious to her |
| She was amazing. Agree to tattoo looked out of place, but I don't think she should have to hide it. She always talks with a sort of British-lite accent. |
| That was amazing. I was very surprised and impressed. |
| The singing was OK. But she has no idea how to carry herself gracefully, which is the polar opposite of Julie Andrews. The whole time I was thinking bull in a china shop. |
|
Is LG trying to reinvent herself? No more outrageous hair and outfits? No more "P, pppp, ppp, poker face..."?
Good singer, no doubt, but i think she will forever be stereotyped with het original personality she profited from. |
| I also kept wondering if it was supposed to being played straight or ironic. The voice was pretty, but tattoos were bizarre. |
| Tattoos are so trashy on women. Poor thing, Gag's lucky she's filthy rich. She is not pretty at all and her fake accent reminds me of that other wanna be Eurotrash Madonna. |
|
I thought she was magnificent:
