It muddies the water for Trump and lets him say that EVERYONE is just out to get him but only he speaks the truth. |
Of course it is good for him. It makes the Lancet look horrible. Seems they were conned. |
Yes, I think we can ignore the Lancet study saying that hydroxychloroquine has bad side effects. But it is also likely that hydroxychloroquine doesn't provide any benefit. Another study showing no benefit is out today. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/06/03/hydroxychloroquine-clinical-trial-results/ |
Also, Trump should not have been shooting his stupid mouth off about it like he did. He should have known that it was irresponsible to say what he did - which was essentially a recommendation to take it, while tests were underway, and we didn't know what the results would be. It caused people to take the drug when they shouldn't have, and it politicized the whole thing. Any responsible leader would have known better than to talk about it like he did. But we have Captain Chaos Clown instead of a responsible leader. Also he had small crowds at his inaurugation, and I will eat my hat if he weighs 244 pounds that vain idiot lolololol |

The Drug works! go take a look at french and Indian data. You and the libs crazy media are the morons that want to kill a drug because Trump talked about it |
Why would we need to outsource medical research to another country? Buy American! Support American scientists! |
|
The President should not be discussing pharmaceuticals. He is not a doctor. It is not his role to talk about drugs and make recommendations. It's as good as someone pulling an expired bottle of antibiotics out of their medicine cabinet and saying to their friend with a cold, hey look, I have some z-pak pills. Maybe these will help your sniffles so you can go to work tomorrow. Very dangerous.
Best to stick with "our top researchers are working hard to find a cure and in the meantime, our hospitals are doing their best to save lives and fight to reduce the spread." Like with every other disease in the world, a cure will take time. |
Merry Ole England says it doesn't work. https://reason.com/2020/06/05/hydroxychloroquine-is-not-a-treatment-for-covid-19-it-doesnt-work/ |
| Is Trump still taking it? |
