It’s Hamptons not Hampton’s. |
Not sure who is worse, the grammar police or the name dropper before you.

Depending on how long she's in, there's a huge chance no one will care anymore. This won't be THAT big of a deal a few years from now and she'll just be old. |
They probably have to buy it at the commissary. |
Felicity's brother is a lawyer and I suspect he heavily encouraged her early on to cut a deal, to the time, do the community service and put this behind her. Lori is represented by the big name law firm who I suspect are charging her pretty big hourly fees. |
Felicity was smart to listen to her brother. She should take him out to an amazing dinner. |
Agree but it should be more than that. $300k will not dissuade a lot of wealthy parents. I think a fine and a few months jail time just for the humiliation factor. |
| When is her case coming up anyhow? |
And Loughlin and Giannulli dig themselves in deeper. Not that they had much choice here. Although they were given one more reprieve to change course and plead guilty to all three charges and get a reduced sentence; they are pretty much committed to an all or nothing defense and try to get off. I doubt they will. They currently have potential of 45 years in prison and I expect that they will end up in prison for over 15 years each, with the possibility of time off for good behavior. Time served should be at least 5 years even on best behavior. The current schedule has their legal team returning to court January 17, 2020 for the next status update on the case review by both sides. At that point, they will have 45-60 days in which to submit a motion to dismiss the charges. Once this motion is made, then the judge can set the schedule for the remainder of the hearing for all remaining 19 parents who are pleading not guilty. But the judge is committed to having all trials completed in 2020. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/10/02/lori-loughlin-parents-college-admissions-scandal-face-2020-trial/3839438002/ |
Was Lori offered the same deal? I think prison is stupid for this. Make them donate millions to charity. |
| She is too pretty , that is the only crime |
She was. Lori has been offered THREE deals alongside all the other parents. Felicity took the 1st deal. A third of the parents took the 2nd deal over the summer. Now she has just passed up a 3rd deal and is facing 60 YEARS IN PRISON. Lori gets no sympathy from me. Whining that she's scared for prison and is miserable. Yet she won't take an offer. Felicity got hers over and done with and is now free to live her life while Lori is looking at enough time that she could die behind bars. |
FBI and US Attorneys look like heavy-handed lunatics with the 60 years threat. Nobody, not even eat the rich nutbags, want or think she deserves a year let alone 60 in the slammer. Just fine them heavily and give her 6 months. This selective enforcement is such a farce. Let me know when Jared Kushner and his dad are sent to prison for this.

Better yet put through college 10 disadvantaged kids. |
