THEY are the ones at fault here. The 18yr old yes, we know he is guilty but the fact that parents not only hosted an under-age party but did not have keys to all these kids cars is brutal. If my child died in all of this, I would be more upset at them then the driver.

Why don't you start and plaster the name of the host parents on this forum? The name of the driver is a matter of public record. The names of the host parents are not but nothing stops you from informing us who they are.

Yes, please do and give us the address. I certainly think the name should be published.

The hosting parents must be mighty rich if they're getting off without even a citation. But about eight underaged drinkers did get citations at the party house. Where's the justice?

I know the house, but I'm not posting it. It is still unclear whether the parents were even home at the time. Adult present may not mean parents, FWIW.

There's nothing unclear. If they can't/won't say they weren't home, or knew nothing of the underaged drinkers on their property, you don't want to incriminate yourself, do you? That's very clear to some people.

Again, absent some real knowledge from anyone on this board can we resist the condemnations and the cry to "out" somebody? If the owners of that home or other adults were negligent or broke the law we will know soon enough. No sense defaming someone on a public forum in the interim.

The police already reported there was at least one adult there. Too late to hide that at this point.

I thought it was mentioned a parent answered the door when the police arrived and even though it wasn't certain if they were there when the boys left but the party was still ongoing when they arrived.

You all need an education in criminal law. I'm certain you'll want to afford yourself its protections when your teen, spouse, parent, friend, etc., finds themselves in need.

Did you hear about the police captain who reported his criminal son in Massachusetts? No, not everyone is corrupt.

His son was iSIS who was going to set a bomb and the cop hadn't seen hm since he was 7.

It is not unethical to know the law and know how to navigate it.
