The new ebola vaccine that's being tested is engineered off the rabies vaccine. This means that there is a well-tested in the field vaccine serving as the ebola vaccine's basis. Good news

Wonder if the rabies vaccine as it is can orovide some immunity on its own, given the viruses are related

The latest from the field is somebody can take up to 40 days to show symptoms. Double the 21 days. 13% of Ebola victims don't get a fever.
