Official Ebola update thread

Don't worry the US has a total of 11 biocontainment units in 4 hospitals. Four are being used by current Ebola patients. They have room for 7 more patients that can be properly cared for. If we get more than 11 patients at one time we are in big trouble.

WTF did she get on a plane?!?!!!!

You answered it. Because she's selfish.

I love that the CDC has now come out and said the people on the first flight might have been infected, all the while Freidan is saying it's not that contagious. He's just a shill for a corrupt administration. We are good and truly fucked. He and Obama have been lying all along.

Time for the people if this country to stop listening to this idiot, and start listenint to the top virologists and doctors.

BTW? One of the top virologists working with ebola literally said it's too late to contain it here.

Sounds to me like he's acting out of an overabundance of caution by tracking down people from the first flight. Wouldn't you consider that a good thing? Would you prefer if he had said the chances of transmission that early on are less than .1%, so we're not going to bother?

She looks good. I'm really glad to hear she's doing better. Seems like maybe she's going to be OK.

Btw, I was right many pages ago. This thing is playing out just like I have said.

I asked about the Surgeon General, Frieden's gross mishandling, etc..and these are now all headline stories on CNN tonight. I guess I'm not hysterical .

You mean the one who was going on about how a single person would infect a whole plane? Let's see how many people from Amber Vinson's flight come down with Ebola. My money's on zero. I'll assume yours in on 132. Shall we see who was closer?
l

I never said a single person would infect a plane.

The latest from the field is somebody can take up to 40 days to show symptoms. Double the 21 days. 13% of Ebola victims don't get a fever.

Yes. Let's see how this plays out. The Prez and Frieden seem to have everything under control .

Oh, really? You never said one person could "wipe out" a plane? Or is the story just changing now that it seems unlikely to happen?
