A Spanish nurse who treated an Ebola victim in Madrid is thought to be the first person to have contracted the virus outside Africa, health officials say. The nurse tested positive for Ebola in initial tests and doctors are awaiting final results, according to reports. She was part of the team that treated Spanish priest Manuel Garcia Viejo, who died of Ebola on 25 September. Some 3,400 people have died in the outbreak - mostly in West Africa. The priest died in the hospital Carlos III de Madrid after catching Ebola in Sierra Leone. |
| Better ban all travel from Spain. |
Don't be an ass. There is a difference between one incident and thousands of incidents. |

Don't be so angry. It was a joke. |

And Texas |

| She started having symptoms on Sept 30th and was not hospitalized until Sunday. So she had 5 days to spread Ebola. This is what happens when you rely on human beings to do the right thing. This is why Ebola will spread- due to lack of quarantines and strict protocols. |
This! Humans are humans. |
| 50% of human beings will make bad choices (probably more) and that is the government's plan. Self reporting of symptoms. |
God bless them. They were working with Ebola patients in full suits, and then working with non-diagnosed patients in the rest of the hospital without suits. Some of those patients had Ebola. |
To quote Colbert, "We need to divert the Keystone pipeline to the Mississippi and set that fucker on fire!" |
Also, if you ban travel from Spain than PP can't go on vacation. |
