You realize she kept all her income, right? |
He got an apartment across the street. |
You don't seem to have read her book, if you don't realize she basically had no income for 20 years because she stayed home raising their 3 kids (despite having equally strong academic credentials as her spouse.) Do you not realize that this was unrenumerated labor she provided to their children? |
DP. I read the book which is why I know she quit her job as soon as she got married - well before kids. She even commented on it in the book. |

I know another guy like this. As soon as his wife's family money started to run out, he went on to the next woman. |
I don't think you read the book. She put her income and assets into marital assets. He did not, except for a month by month transfer of cash to cover some of their expenses. |
Besides her investments in the two properties, she did not do this. Her family money remained separate and protected. Read the New Yorker article. |
IT’s not just unrenumerated labor she provided to her children, it’s unrenumerated labor she provided to him which he was then able to monetize for his career success - keeping all the money he earned (part of which was due to her unrenumerated labor) for himself. |
| Looks like Henry finally got his PR team together. |
She kept all her money to herself! Per the prenup. |
| Except for the properties she paid for that were also in his name, school for the kids, etc etc |
| She couldn’t wait to quit her job and get out of the workforce when she married her DH. |
