Can the DA press charges against FBI? IDK. I suppose Justice could, but all know that won’t happen either. Really, this should have happened yesterday, so there’s no point in us guessing. |
No. The DA cannot prosecute here. |
Why? What would the charges be? You people are nuts. |
The bolded is a lie. Why are you relying on some sort f what Padilla said that supports your narrative but not the other things he said that don’t? |

Blatantly performative stunt designed to get the positive "outrage" coverage it has indeed gotten, and to generate more as other actors --er, Senators -- feign indignation.
I watched the whole exchange and saw exactly what happened. Padilla IMMEDIATELY began to interrupt the press conference. When he refused to stop, they escorted Padilla out. The group of people finished their press conference and took questions from the audience. There were several questions asked from a variety of individuals. Why couldn't Padilla wait like everyone and ask his questions? I'll tell you why, because he wanted to create a spectacle, to encourage law enforcement to escort him out. It was in fact, A PERFORMANCE and I would bet dollars to donuts, that he'll be on MSNBC and CNN front & center later tonight. Mission accomplished! What I find most interesting is when Padilla stepped outside and conducted his own press conference, the crowd began to ask him questions but instead of providing answers for the press, HE WALKED AWAY. See what he did there?!
+1000 And predictably he is fund raising off his stunt. |
Noem wants to liberate LA from her elected government. I would start yelling, too, if I heard that. |
LOL |
Sure, sure; I’m certain Trump is soooo upset about this ![]() |
So what? We’re living in a Trump reality show. |
He's a democratically elected sitting US senator. |
Was it theatre? Yeah but at this point it’s all theatre. We have Gaza resort AI videos, Kristi getting dressed up as ICE Barbie and posing in front of El Salvadoran prisoners and MTG and Boebert yelling nonsense in congress all day. And the general public eats all of the theatrical stuff up like candy so why not get on their level. It works. The politics rule book got thrown out in 2016. It’s a free for all now. |
