I don't blame her one bit for cutting off this relationship, he clearly is desperately grasping for these cheap paydays as is the rest of his side of the family. / not a fan or "stan" and am sort of neutral to dislike on MM herself, but I will never fault her for setting pretty firm boundaries with this branch of her family. They seem truly awful. I don't care if he paid for her school, he's pulling this shit now and it's totally unacceptable for anyone with even a modicum of dignity and sense of family. A parent should never behave the way he has treated her recently.

She doesn't seem to like her dad's family, Harry's family, or her mom's family. Only her mom passes the test.

You are funny! That school was not fancy, I’m almost certain her parents got financial aid so they didn’t pay the full tuition for her to attend. Same with Northwestern, what they paid out of pocket was not the advertised tuition.

She was around people with a lot of wealth and power but she was always on the precipice. She has spent all of her adulthood climbing the ladder and is now solidly upper class and a world elite as the daughter in law of the English king.

These types of stories don’t start as innocent mistakes by journalists, they’re calculated misinformation campaigns and they’re accepted as truth still, years later. It’s not just one thing. There are tons of these types of stories that have been published/shared on social media to warp perceptions. And PP, I’m not saying you were trying to spread lies, I’m just explaining how one lie has turned into a commonly held belief.
