I don’t get why anyone is surprised or mad by this. Did anyone really think Tom and Giselle were going to go the distance? They both seem self absorbed and obsessed and pretty shallow, and I don’t think Tom was really capable of being married to anyone while he was at the peak of his career. I’m surprised they stuck it out as long as they did. he just came out and talked about what a terrible dad he’s been and how he wants to do better. Good for him for acknowledging his mistakes, but definitely feel like he was incredibly hard to live with the past 15 years.
That’s for Giselle, I feel like people should take some time after a long-term relationship events, and she clearly didn’t do that. I personally think it’s insane to have a baby with this guy, but it’s her life and I’m sure she has the resources to deal with whatever comes her way. Her new guy seems to have it together and they have a lot in common. I doubt her lawyers will let him get much of her money and it seems like he has enough of his own anyway considering his family. I don’t think you become Tom and Gisele‘s family fitness instructor if you don’t have a stellar reputation and are somewhat of a celebrity in your field already. They didn’t just pick up some rando from Craig’s list. |

^ agreed! They should've broken up ages ago. Someone mentioned it seems like she resents him and i am willing to bet staying together for so long didn't help.
How long has she known her current bf? It looks like there's a level of comfort between him, Gisele and the kids that tells me the affair has been going on for awhile. It's extra inappropriate on their part since he was mentor toward her son and who already had an emotionally distant father because of works. He lived with her before the pregnancy so I wouldn't be surprised if she had some agreement in place already. |

It's really crappy for the kids. They are pre-teens and it's all over the media. Kids likely gossip at school and give them a hard time about it. No one likes it when a 3rd party breaks up their parents' marriage. But then to move in immediately with the 3rd party and get knocked up? Gisele is f#cking up her kids. I hope those kids have a good family therapist. |

Her affair does not mean having his shortcomings as a dad are forgiven. Both of their actions would potentially harm a child. |
