They aren’t holed up in a studio apartment. Yes, she can absolutely bring her kids and have the conversation when they aren’t in earshot. In fact seeing his kids might motivate his sobriety more than anything in the world can.

That’s usually what healthy exes that are co parenting do. They keep all interactions about or with the kids.

Going to his house at night when he’s vulnerable and downtrodden and likely to be praising, charming, overcomplimenting, and finally lifting her up when for years he didn’t speak too highly of their Union and even blamed her /the marriage for his drinking. Classic addict behavior. They feel trapped and have to make excuses and blame others for their mistakes. Neither Jennifer can be blamed if he falls off the wagon again

What? It’s a weekend. The kids are teens now. The youngest is 12. They have plans with their friends like my teens do on spring weekends. They probably don’t want to be dragged on mom’s errand to check on dad.

This is high profile stuff. JLO involved Jen when she showed up at Fin’s school. What a nightmare for Jen g. I’m sure she wants nothing to do with us and yes now they have to make a plan. Why would she drag the kids out of whatever they are doing?

She probably did need to sit him down to discuss how they are going to handle the situation with respect to the kids. They need to present a united front on what to tell them and how to manage more generally. If JLO did show up to Fin's show without checking in with either of her parents first, and also called the paps to be there, that really sucks.

JLo using his private letters as material for her vanity project was a betrayal. Making commercials for booze when her partner is an alcoholic is antagonistic. JLo seems like she wants to control him, and that’s not sustainable. JG thinks about the kids and wants to make sure he’s not going to go off the deep end again. I actually like JLo and don’t like JG, but here I think JG is going to handle the whole thing in a more mature way, not try to get back with Ben.

No way it's orchestrated. Anything that punctures the "Bennifer is a love story for the ages" narrative doesn't benefit her at all. It's also bad for all the kids, he'd never go along with that. Nor would his mother fly out, worried Jen G be stopping by etc.
