I feel the same way about the women that marry 15+ older, more famous men. |
Adults own their choices. He gave up on his marriage. He should own that and not blame his STBX or expect her to keep quiet about his betrayal. |
I never heard of Sutton Foster before Hugh started up with her. |
Yet we haven't had men telling about encounters with Hugh like we did John Travolta. |
Agree that he has mommy issues (and probably other abandonment issues), but when they met, she was more famous, more successful and more attractive. |
It's unusual but not unheard of for men to marry older partners especially when the woman is attractive and successful. When they both age, the age difference is more obvious but I've know two couples like this. Not usual but not unheard of. I've also read that people who have a big age difference in their first relationship will also have one in their next one, but in the opposite direction and it fits here. Jackman was with someone older and is now with someone much younger. |
Interesting to note that John Travolta was with an older woman, Diana Hyland, early in his career. I believe she died while they were together. |
If you follow Broadway, you know her. I’ve recognized her since 2011 or so. |
Demi/Ashton/Mila |
And using "grooming" to discuss consensual relationships between adults who met as adults lessens toe seriousness of actual grooming. Like yes, Macron is an excellent example of actual grooming. Teenager having a sexual relationship with his teacher, absolutely grooming. That's the thing of thing that society should step in and stop. Someone in their late 20s meeting and marrying another adult, you may think "weird", but it's not grooming. |
Bill Belichick anyone? |
I believe Sutton Foster is 50 and Hugh is 56, though she looks really young. Wasn’t she the star of a sitcom about looking like she was in high school, Younger the I think was the name. |
Actually, she was 40 and played a 20-something (believably) in Younger. |
