And only 55 cases the second week.

Cases will happen. So far, FredCo is an example of it being done well.

FredCo standards are way lower than Moco. There is no comparison in terms of number of schools, number of students and density.

That's weird, TPES and PBES aren't there, right?

Why would MCPS report some cases and not others? I didn't get a notification for DC's school, but if I did and didn't see it up there I would email them.

NP and I noticed those two schools weren't listed as well. But isn't it possible they haven't had cases yet? Or have I missed something? When I click my own school the only cases are from the spring. I don't see Burning Tree or North Chevy Chase either, off the top of my head.

Kennedy HS isn't there either. And the cases go back to April for all the schools.

So the schools that are missing are missing because there are no cases? Or no reporting? I suppose either is possible. It's all a matter of time.

MCPS randomly tests a small number of students. We eouldn’t know unless some one is obviously symptomatic.

Spreading Covid!

Maybe. But also, maybe not. They have 45,000 students. And over 2 weeks, less than a 100 have tested positive for COVID, and there's no indication that spread occurred in school

They've gotten 10 days of in-person schooling in for all those kids.

That's a win, no matter how you look at it

Their schools aren't as overcrowded as ours.
