DH takes too long to respond to DC, it’s infuriating

My DH does this, and I wait a beat and then say his name and that Larlo needs him. I just don't want after waiting the beat because I know the kid will just keep asking. If the kids come to me for things when I am busy and DH is free, I send them to DH. I constantly say, "larlo, I am busy. Dad is free. Ask him". I just never let up bc I did not create these children by myself. If DH is just sitting there scrolling, i plop the laundry basket in front of him. I ask him to do chores. I say - this, this, this and this are on my list. Which do you want to do. It is unreal that men require this management, but it's either I go nuts, or I act as the leader and delegate.

Real men don't need this management.
