I thought I was the only one who found Natalie Portman unwatchable! Disagree on Nicole Kidman, though.

Any modern one where someone plays a different race. Scarlett Johanson in ghost in the shell. Angelina jolie in a mighty heart. Emma stone in aloha. The list goes on and on

He was played by Ricardo Montalban originally but RM was a European-Mexican (both parents from Spain) so as European as BC. Plus, since Khan is a genetically engineered being, again, you can’t really say that BC was taking a Latino role. He was great in the movie and really did seem to have the vibe of a young Khan as played by RM.

Ricardo Montalban was considered a physical specimen at the time and they were looking for someone that was brown since the character was supposedly Sikh (or at least from India). Jason Momoa would have been better a cast.

I was going to say the same. She was terrible but I also think the character kinda sucked too. It’s the best movie ever save his romance with that character. He should have left Duckface at the altar to marry Fiona.

Jason Momoa was 3 years old when that movie was made.

The leads in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The dialog made it sound like they were middle aged so they cast people in their 20s.
