Bathing suits appropriate for the community pool 2.0

Who!? Who is doing this? I have never ever pointed out any woman’s swimsuit to my husband or friend or whoever I’m with to talk about. Bizarre

That said, my DH said it was super obvious that a couple of the younger moms that we'd never met were parading by him just to show off their bikinis. They went the long way around the pool to get to the snack bar to walk by DH and a couple of his friends. I'm one of those fat moms married to a hot dad....

Oh please. Everyone does not want your husband, I am sure of it.

He sounds thirsty as hell

Lots of responses about how it was too skimpy etc etc. I thought of it yesterday when I was at my neighborhood pool and two younger ladies were both wearing bottoms so cheeky they may as well have been thongs. Guess what?? No one cared!!! No one even gave them a look. Everyone is too busy enjoying themselves to worry about what other people are wearing. This year I have seen ladies having fun in all sorts of styles: the oft maligned lands end one pieces, rash guards, bikinis, etc etc. enjoy the beach and the pool this summer and wear what you like!

Exactly! They're everywhere, normal, and not a big deal. Heck, the other week someone from my church had a pool party, and one of the young church moms had a one piece that was slightly cheeky (granted it wasn't one of those 1/2 coverage ones) and nobody batted an eye as she walked around in it and went through the kitchen.

Only Americans are overwhelmed by the THONG. So typical. **eyeroll**

Let’s be honest, bikini mom who’s been working out all year wants people to see her.
Whatever the style of the season is, she will be there, pedicure, Botox, and cool shades on.

I see you, bikini mom, and I’m giving you mental applause for the bod, and yearn to have the same self discipline. Or ozempic, or laid back lifestyle.

Signed,

Cute skirtini mom
