After Crash Landing on You, what's next?

“One Sunny Day” is 10, 12-minute long episodes.

“Love Struck in the City,” is also a short form drama. Has talented leads and supporting cast.

Itaewon class is riveting but I didn’t like the female lead.

It’s a cheesy, but very famous classic K-drama.

Too much cheese. And the too-typical strong-arm superior male lead (although in a twist the female is not a weakling).

Its a slow burn and has a very realistic, subtle portrayal of romance I have seen so far. The chemistry of the lead pair is absolutely beautiful. Some really adorable scenes between them that you would definitely go back and watch. It also tackles on some serious social issues / stigmas .There are parts and some characters that can be annoying , but overall would highly recommend.

Thanks, great rec, I’m enjoying it sofar. Also a mini-reunion with some actors from CLOY!

Unfortunately I don’t think you’ll be able to find a k-drama quite like Crash Landing on You. It had a very tight storyline, with good looking leads and second leads as well. It also fulfilled the curiosity we may have about life in N. Korea.

If you have also seen Mr. Sunshine, then I’d recommend reading the book Pachinko. It was recommended by Obama and is a very fast read. It’s been popular in book clubs this year as well. It’s about the Koreans who lived in Japan during and after the war. Well written and memorable characters.
