And to add to my post, while it doesn't have Hyun Bin, it dies have the equally beautiful and talented Jo in Sung.

Jo in Sung is stunning. He did incredible work in It's Okay, That's Love. Not on Netflix, but is on Viki. It's intense and doesn't get everything "right" with the mental health themes, but I forgive that 100% because it's such a lovely show.

I also love Dear My Friend! It's really beautiful, albeit slower paced. I love the stories of the older generation. So poignant and something we don't see much of in U.S. tv.

If you haven't seen it, you would love Navillera.

And, ‘Radiant’ on Viki.

I like to watch more modern Chinese dramas. Check out The First Half of My Life on prime and Ode to Joy on Viki.

I enjoyed “King- Eternal Monarch” on Netflix. It’s set in two parallel Koreas. I enjoyed this romance more than the CLOY. It’s also got sci fi elements as well. I’m on my second run of King Eternal Monarch.

Based on this thread, I’ve started Healer. And will continue with it: good production, acting, interesting story lines. And so far none of the super silly girl, too rough guy, etc.

Still watching Healer. Interesting enough to keep watching but not super hopeful it will turn into something great.

Just finished watching "Something in the Rain". I picked it as the female lead is Son Ye-Jin from Crash landing on You . Its a slow burn and has a very realistic, subtle portrayal of romance I have seen so far. The chemistry of the lead pair is absolutely beautiful. Some really adorable scenes between them that you would definitely go back and watch. It also tackles on some serious social issues / stigmas .There are parts and some characters that can be annoying , but overall would highly recommend.

Thanks for this rec! If you liked the male lead, try ‘One Spring Night’. It’s sweet and subtle as well.

He's also the lead in a new Netflix drama, D.P. He plays a soldier assigned to the MP unit that hunts down deserters. (All South Korean men must serve two years in the military.) It was really, really good. Not a romance, obviously! It's only 6 episodes, so you can binge it in a day or two.

Jung Hae In is also in Prison Playbook, which I highly recommend.

This comment reminded me to mention that Korean dramas sometimes have additional scenes after the credits roll, so make sure you watch to the end or you might miss something. Crash Landing had additional scenes at the end of every episode. DP has one at the end of the series.

What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?

It’s a cheesy, but very famous classic K-drama.
