I love everyone posting "troll alert" as if it's not completely obvious that it's a fking troll post. Like yes, op's kid's classmate used fking DOOR DASH to send carnival fish to him. The door dasher went to a carnival, got the fish - and a funnel cake for the road - and delivered them. Like wtf?

OP, call a vet or let it pass. As long as your tank is clean and it isn't something transmissible then the other fish should be fine. A relative had one of those carnival fish last for 15y so you still have a while to go, potentially. Thanks for being good to the fish.

As for everyone critiquing "door dash" I'm taking it to just mean the other kid got fish, rang the doorbell and ran away kind of like what people used to do with May baskets or whatever.
