Why does Julia Stiles look so different?

I guess I'm not normal. I'm sure I'm older than her and have no lines in my forehead. Around my eyes is another story! I tell people with forehead lines its because they are thinkers, I'm not - lol I'm just a smiler

This is usually the toilet scrubbing dress not to be seen in the daylight. It looks like something you wear when you stay in, read books, and eat a box of granola bars.

Maybe she likes it.

Let me guess, you think that because she’s shiny

Botox doesn’t do that but acids can

No, it's the perma deer in headlights look.

Botox doesn’t to that either. It’s the lift she got.

It's the combination. The frozen (too much) botox look + lift.

She looks different to me in that picture, too. Like her face shape isn't the same anymore.

Then I watched the preview of her latest movie. She looks like her old self in the movie preview so I'm going to chalk this picture up to lack of heavy make-up, a different camera angle.

the rest is she lost the fat face look she had (despite being skinny)

She looks the same to me , just older. I think she looks great.

So here’s a random tangential musing.

When I encounter a scenario like this, where people are looking at the same thing and seeing it very differently (fwiw I am in the camp that she looks very different in that photo vs her younger self), it makes me wonder how many things this applies to. Like, I see myself in the mirror but to other I must look different than I think. Or, what I think of as blue and what the person next to me thinks of as blue probably isn’t quite the same. Interesting!

Just eyelid surgery and a defined darker brow. Other than that, at par with aging, thinning, different hair color, different expression.

I think she is looking very good and her skin is looking really youthful.

If we could see videos of her - then and now - and saw her mannerisms and expressions and the way she talked, laughed, grimaced...we would not find her this much changed.

Looking at just photographs - of course she will look different. One is a teenager and another is a growna$$ woman!! Good thing is that she is actually looking very good. Clothes, hair and makeup is very casual though! Still...she is looking very good. More like the sister of Diane Lane though.

She might have needed her eyes done versus it just being cosmetic. My family had eyes like this. My dad was having vision problems because the hoods were obscuring his eyes too much. And my aunt always had watery eyes because the droop was in her eyes and making her tear up. It was a pretty big source of annoyance to them.

I loved her film "10 Things ..." but she looks even sexier to me now.
