Where can I find the smallest tampon on earth?

Love these. Best tampons on earth.

I am only mentioning because someone I went to school couldn’t use tampons without extreme pain and as it turned out she had an issue with blockage that was easily remedied with a minor procedure.

It's called a hymen. It's normal anatomy, not a "blockage."

Some women have a very thick hymen that does need to be surgically removed. My sister had this.

O.B! It even comes in a slender form and in two types of material that says it's for easy insert.

O.B does not have an applicator. The box is small and each tampon itself is wrapped in thin plastic. Not alot of trash.

My own DD doesn’t have her period yet. But I remember my mom giving my OB tampons and cardboard tampons and my sister getting me rounded tip plastic applicator. The rounded tip, jr / slim fit, plastic applicator option was what worked for me.

For my own daughter, she also complained about it hurting but really wanted it in so was willing to persevere. After forcing it a couple of times, it became a lot easier. make sure you are having her use the plastic applicators.

This.

Not for swimming!

Also, I think girls tend to think it’s straight up into your body. It really goes at a 45 degree angle, so what helped me was someone telling me to aim toward my spine as I do it.

The smaller the better and with Vaseline might help too.

I didn’t know there was period swimwear but definitely use that if it exists!

+1

She needs to aim toward her back, not up. Once I figured that out eons ago, putting in tampons was easy.

NO to the Diva cup. I use one, but you have to fold it, and rotate it, and whatever - let her get comfortable with periods and tampons first.

Original OP. Looked it up. It’s called an imperforate hymen. It is considered a form of “vaginal blockage”. There’s another form of blockage too but that one is less common and does require actual surgery.

OP, I was also extremely tiny (but 15 yo when I had my first period) and the first time I tried a tampon it hurt. My awesome (and way more experienced friend) recommended a lubricant. She actually went to the store and bought it for me. I used the smallest tampons available with the plastic applicator with the rounded tip (yes I know it sucks for the environment, but those were the only ones that worked for me when I was young). I would put a drop of lube on my vj and I never had any more pain. There are a lot of natural, non-chemical, lubs with no artificial colors so they are gentle for your child.

Please don’t use Vaseline for your vagina.
