Syc u9 orange and blue also play very dirty and multuple posters have echoed this. It seems to be a club theme.

Completely agree. The almighty SYC MLS Next ‘07 team had to use an Alexandria MLS Next player, who was their dominant player against us. I know it’s within the tournament rules...but really? Is that why they win so many tournaments? We even heard this player is actually leaving for DCU United. He was that good. I’m happy BRYC beat them in group play, and gave them a scare in the finals (Alexandria MLS Next...I mean SYC won 3-2).

PP u14b parent. I was genuinely embarrassed by the behavior of the SYC parents. This was not the top division. They had their mls next players guesting for the team. The parents were screaming accusations about our team that were honestly preposterous. Set an example for your kids. Play fair and win fair.

And 07 BRYC also beat SYC MLS Next 07

This is the SYC way…the rosters are always inconsistent with players from higher teams, and obnoxious parents. You can play the exact same team several times and there will be different players each time. And we are not talking about players being ill or out of town. It is a win at all costs mentality with the coaches and parents, and quite frankly, it is sad to see.

SYC ”Parentz” ... keeping it classy.

moving them up to try a higher level of play, not moving them down to sandbag

Same for us for both girls and boys size U12 and under. We understand the contact nature of soccer and not talking about the regular pushing or pulling type but openly grab and yank a player down in a race or flat out kick another player down anywhere they can is dangerous. For the SYC parents who didn’t care and the coach to yell out “it’s ok! It’s not a foul” and yell at the ref for bad call, you are disgusting.

You recognize that most of the time, to move a player up means someone needs to move down, right? There aren't just open spots sitting around on these rosters.

Not sure what you mean - Richmond United’s site says it doesn’t field teams below U-13.

Is this a U-12 player who made the team for next season?

Oh well they do the same sh&t as other clubs in NOVA do. Cheating to win regardless of delivering a full product to the current team players (costumers). Feel happy for your championship medal?
