How noble of you. I specifically got vaccinated to reduce the chance we would bring COVID home and infect our kids. But you do you. |
What’s not safe? |
![]() And that is your right. And plan to home school your kids, like many of those that aren't faking some made up religious exception for just the COVID vaccine. |
Well then you are in excellent health, with no autoimmune issues, likely fairly young and fit. So I assume you aren't worried about getting COVID, so why do you even care about the vaccine approval status? |
Are you an immunologist? |
This is precisely why I care about approval status. Why fix something that isn’t broken. |
Until its approved for everyone, including children, I don’t feel comfortable taking it. |
Ha! My kids have surely been exposed, they have been back to school, hybrid and full time all year, playing sports, playing with a few other kids. We don’t live in DC area. We obviously have differing views of the dangers based on geography. People are careful here but most people are living normal lives and maybe are waiting to get vaccinated. |
Why? What informs your reasoning? nP |
I believe we should be prioritizing covid vaccine based on risk first and foremost, and that should include some children and teens. Thin healthy young adults, especially women are not suffering severely from covid. I also think a large number of people have natural immunity, it’s impossible for that not to be true. Let’s vaccinate all high risk populations first including kids and then go from there. |
Are you an alien? This is LITERALLY what we are doing. Except we can’t vaccinate kids b/c it’s not approved yet so we want to vaccinate more adults to protect those kids. |
A lack of approval for kids due to lack of data does not mean it’s “unsafe for kids”. It’s safe for you, and it hasn’t yet been shown what dose of the vaccine is safe for kids. But, you know what’s really unsafe for kids ? A dead parent. How will your kids feel at your funeral when they hear people talking about how you refused to get a vaccine because there was no vaccine for kids. Do you think they’ll feel happy and proud that you sacrificed yourself for them? |
20:22, Please define “safe”.
Blood clots don’t sound safe to me. DP |
How many individuals in the US developed clots that might be caused by ONE type of vaccine? Wasn't it six? Over 200 million doses have been given. You need a statistics refresher. |
Exposure from soccer games or masked classroom is radically different than an infected household member. But you knew that, my dear ostrich. |
