You have the right to stay. You just need to enroll on time if you're out of bounds. If you are in bounds they have to take you.

Thanks! We are currently renting in-bounds for a Deal feeder. We were hoping to a move to a more affordable neighborhood if Latin worked out but now we'll probably stay for another year.

FWIW at our Deal feeder school plenty of families move OOB and are able to stay. Principals have the discretion to allow this so you may to ask. I understand it’s a fairly common practice at some schools.
