Hearst Elementary School
Waitlisted - #24

Janney Elementary School
Waitlisted - #36

Lafayette Elementary School
Waitlisted - #29

Murch Elementary School
Waitlisted - #28

Are you in bounds for Lafayette? We are and we are 51 on the wait list... Wouldn't inbound preference mean that we are higher than you? Unless you're inbounds.

Never mind I'm stupid I just saw it's for 4th grade.

Maybe there are less kids eligible for school?

Also depends on grade level. Waitlists for in-demand schools are longer for PK3 and PK4. Waitlists are shorter for upper grades, but also there is less movement. So you might be in the 300s for PK3 and in the 30s for K, and have pretty much the same (non-existent) likelihood of getting in.

Congrats on Walls! Where will you go for 5th?

If you are inbound don’t you have rights to attend and hence wouldn’t be on a WL ?

9th grade, WL numbers in the mid-200s for Walls and about the same for other (less wished-for) choices. Ouch.

Yes for K and above. I thought she was talking about PK4.

Thanks! We are currently renting in-bounds for a Deal feeder. We were hoping to a move to a more affordable neighborhood if Latin worked out but now we'll probably stay for another year.

PK4 - lowest is #3 at Thomson, highest is #89 at Oyster.

Also #51 at Marie Reed DL and #32 at LAMB.

I want to be optimistic about #7 at MV Cook, but we had such awful numbers last year, I’m not sure how I should feel about this year’s results. They’re all just numbers until I get a call. I was mentally preparing to have to stick with daycare for one more year and I don’t know if I should get my hopes up.

Gonna scour DCUM for MV info regardless.

PK3 matched at ITDS

K #3 WL at ITDS (sibiling offer) / # 115 at Two Rivers 4th Street

No email. I assume they will go out tomorrow as usual. But you can definitely access the site now.

One year our number changed for a school between the site and the email. I only know because I'd screenshot the website list to text to my DH, and when we received the email, we'd dropped several spots for our #2 school. I assume something happened with sibling allocation or something? It was disturbing, but since we moved from like 245 to 249, not worth pursuing.

What on earth does that mean? Do you think because your numbers moved that is evidence of some sort of shenanigans? Where do you come out on vaccines and the earth being round?

It sounds like some people clicked Accept on sibling offers right away and a few kids jumped you on the list. Normal.
