Is getting a Telfar bag weird if you’re white?

Do you love the design? If you do, go get one. If you don't (the bag is a fashion statement and you don't sound like a fashion statement person) go find something you like.

They’re so boring and not even in an aesthetically pleasing way. I don’t get the appeal at all. At least the price is low though.

Gucci didn't think so: https://www.thefashionlaw.com/amid-enduring-brand-issues-guess-is-coming-under-fire-for-telfar-knockoff/

If you like the bag, buy it. Jesus Christ.

The designer is Lebanese, btw, and the motto of the brand is that it is “for everyone.”

I need an ophthalmologist my eyes are rolling so hard at you people.

I didn’t get that from the post at all - I got it more as she wanted to stay in her lane - sort of how some people feel that big hoop earrings should not be worn by people from communities other than those known for wearing big hoop earrings. I don’t really get it and don’t know whether I agree, but I’m not interested in disrespecting anyone either

So, to the OP, I think it was a considerate and thoughtful question.

Roll away, PP....

So... POCs would prefer white people not to support their businesses?

Do you always fall for simple shit so easily?

See?

Like I know it’s mostly lighthearted but also...

Agreed. I would feel a little like a poseur with a Telfar bag. Wouldn’t buy FUBU either.

Black people haven't purchased FUBU since the 90's.
