Round trip was about 1:45 including the wait for the vaccination and the 15 minute wait afterwards. We even did some shopping at the CVS during the trip.

And it was worth it to get in ahead of the rush coming next week.

This is super frustrating. I live in Baltimore and can't get a damn appointment. Everywhere else is limiting it to residents, but people who sh!t on Baltimore any other time have no problem coming and taking the limited number of vaccines we have.

CVS has been dropping appointments like crazy the past couple days. I suggest trying there. Just keep entering Baltimore zip codes and eventually appointments will pop up. It's worked for me multiple times.

NP here. So this explains why my local CVS in Catonsville suddenly has cars parked all the way down the block.

So if you're in phase 3, when can you expect to be able to get a vaccine without doing some kind of crazy searching? I want to just walk in some place, get the vaccine, then leave. I don't want to wait in lines or sign up weeks ahead of time online to find a slot like someone might do looking for some hot electronics item.

Are we talking May? June?

If you’re eligible in 1A- 1C you will have priority when pre registering for the M & T mass vaccine site. Have you not had any luck with that? Try calling the number - I’ve heard that speaking to a live person can also be successful even if you have to stay on hold for a while.

I pre registered there but haven't heard anything. I've been checking Walgreens, rite aid, and CVS near me and haven't had any luck. I don't drive, so I can't go all over the state for an appointment.

a link to request a ride.

Thank you!

Maryland will enter Phase 2A of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan on March 23, making the vaccine open to people 60 and older.

My 62 year old husband got an email appointment link from the University of Maryland Medical Center waitlist this afternoon!

Have you checked Walgreens? About an hour ago there were literally about 30 appts. Yesterday Walgreens in Baltimore had appts every 15 min from 10a-6pm. If you can’t figure it out go on Facebook and get a vaccine hunter to help.

Maryland will enter Phase 2A of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan on March 23, making the vaccine open to people 60 and older.

On March 30, Phase 2B will start for all Marylanders age 16 and older with underlying medical conditions that increase the risk for severe COVID-19 illness.

On April 13, Phase 2C will start for all Marylanders age 55 and older, as well as essential workers in critical industries (construction, food services, utilities, financial services, IT and other infrastructure).

Phase 3 will start no later than April 27, when eligibility will open to every single Marylander over the age of 16.

Unfortunately not, unless you have an underlying medical condition that puts you at high risk. But the good news is that in Maryland it is only a few weeks away. Hogan announced the following schedule today:

I'm 53, with a chronic illness not on the list, and a healthy 18 year old will be able to get a vaccine before me. Smh.

What is Hogan thinking?

What list? Has Maryland even posted a list of high risk conditions or referenced the CDC list?
