| Yeah, I don't think any whole country is posh, with the possible exception of Monaco. |

\\ Fixed that for you.

Yeah, I have to agree. I almost spit out my coffee when I read this. I can't decide whether it's the inaccuracy of what's written or the tone. Both. |
Service for what? The whole point is to get away. To your own whole 4 acres? That you're sharing with several other suites? Pass, there are loads of private villas all over the world that come with staff for that price. And less. |

Hahahha thank you |
I don't think it's that - most of the uber posh people on Nantucket are not New Englanders. I'm am totally comfortable in other parts of MA. |
I might kind of agree with the PP. If you're in London and stick to where the Arabs and the Russian oligarch are, things are posher than in the US. In London you run into a whole lot more people who are dressed up. Like I won't go out to lunch without a proper outfit in London but here I'm not getting out of my leggings when I meet my friends for lunch. |
| Sounds like Meghan Markle had enough of the royal "poshness." |
All sorts of charter flight / package tourists there.
|
Have you been to little palm? You are very worked up about this. |
I'd say it's more a city/culture thing that a British thing. No different than NYC, Paris, etc. |

I’m the PP who went to Little Palm. I know there are great resorts you can go to for a fraction of the price of Little Palm. None of those places, however, could be done in a quick overnight trip. I live in Naples and we can get to Little Palm in about 4 hours. We then went to Sunset Key (https://www.sunsetkeycottages.com/) for another night. We went for the experience and to see, firsthand, what these places were like. I chose both these islands, in part, on their COVID policies and practices. It was a fun couple of nights but I doubt that I’ll ever repeat it. I would encourage anyone who enjoys fine dining and high end resorts to go to either of these places even for just lunch or dinner. This assumes that you’re already traveling or staying in the Keys. |
