Yeah. I wasn’t getting his whole “quit asking for freebies like electricity” message. The whole point of their screwed up privatized electrical Grid is that electricity is a profitable commodity his constituents have paid for. So yes, they are in fact owed the power they pay for.

You only pay for the electricity you’ve already used.

If your power is out, you’re not using any, and therefore not paying for it.

Not true. Part of every bill you pay is to maintain the underlying infrastructure. Which clearly didn’t happen here. Reason 9,001 that a privatized power Grid is a terrible idea.
