NP. U Roch undergrads are 26% international, 5% black, 7% Hispanic, 11% Asian, 42% white. That is a fairly large international percentage, which does provide a more diverse flavor. Our tour guide was an international student from Africa, for example (black). I did not see OP's stats, so can't comment on that. |
If this is for a senior, the RD deadline was extended to this Wed. There's still time. |
+1 pitt is generally white and Asian. |
I think it’s a high school troller. On every single college post. (At least I hope so. Otherwise quite a lame dullard.) Anyway, got it, kid—funny funny. Move on. 😃👍 |
| There aren’t so many African-American students in the Southwest, but the Cal State campuses in Southern California as well as the public universities in Arizona and New Mexico are significantly to majority Hispanic. UNLV could also be worth a look. |
| West Point. |
Here’s another “face in the window. Clearly SMCM is making efforts to increase diversity. https://inside.smcm.edu/news/2021/01/jerri-howland-announced-vice-president-student-affairs-st-marys-college-maryland |
I think this is a good list, especially Drexel, Temple and Rutgers. You could visit them all in one weekend trip. (Assuming visits resume or you're cool with just walking around campus.) Villanova is very white, Catholic, and hard to get into. |
| Rutgers. Diverse school with students from all over the world. If you follow the USNews ranking, it is on a par with V-Tech. Football is pathetic, but basketball is decent, if your kid is into sports. |
