Amazon shows

The Wheel of Time. I’m a big fan of the books so some of the (needed) changes were tough, but over all I really liked it and am excited for season two.

I hear most non-readers that got into it really liked it.

The Wilds has part of the same premise as Yellowjackets: Plane full of teen girls goes down in them middle of nowhere. But it doesn't follow them as adults. There's supposed to be a second season someday.

But all of a sudden, there are a ton of new ones, and I need advice! Just finished Hanna, enjoyed Jack Ryan, tried the Expanse (could not get into it!! - cannot believe there are five seasons, honestly).

The Expanse is - bar none - the best sci-fi show ever put on television. I can't believe it hasn't been killed yet. But you must be willing to sink into it - it's incredibly complex storytelling and worldbuilding and it keeps getting better. And the women kick ass.

Carnival Row - steampunk fantasy noir, but your mileage may vary.
Mozart in the Jungle - about professional concert musicians in NY
Good Omens - the friendship between an angel and a demon as they grapple with the coming apocalypse (funny/sweet)
The Boys - EXCELLENT - but super-violent and creepy

I feel like I could have written this - I agree - but if you don't want dark - don't do The Boys - and Carnival Row is relatively dark, too.

I really enjoyed Upload as well.

Lots of people enjoy Fleabag and Flack (neither are not my cup of tea, but YMMV)

Loved Good Omens! Wonderful acting and funny British humor.

Mozart in the Jungle! So good. Got really weird at the end, but I still want more. Love that Maestro.
