Oh yea we liked this one too, although it did get kind of dark as time went on. |
The last season was SO dark, hated. |

Psych is still on Amazon, don't know if it will eventually move to Peacock since the movies are on there. It's a great show.
Also Craig Ferguson Presents: Hobo Fabulous is fantastic (I really enjoyed his late night show, and as is his style this was a unique way to do a stand-up special) |
| I enjoyed the first 2 seasons of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, didn't love the third season. |
+1. I loved Patriot. |

Some of these are on Netflix, some are Prime
The Fall (best crime series ever) Dirty John You Fortitude Into the Night V Battlestar Galactica To the Lake The Rain Mindhunters The stranger Your Honor Chernobyl The Hot Zone containment The Last Ship The Wilds |
| I’ve been enjoying the reboot of Mad About You |
Found both of these interesting, but Chernobyl is on HBO (you might be able to get it through a trial on AP though) and The Last Ship is on Hulu |
| In Flanders Fields (WWI historical fiction) on AP. Some violence and a lot of explicit sex though. |
You are my spirit animal. DP |
| We really enjoyed Uploaded (on Prime). |
|
OP here. We started something called Tin Star; the ending of the first episode was really brutal and I kinda don't want to go back. But we probably will keep watching. Police procedural vs. evil big oil. But starring Tim Roth, who is great to watch.
I like some of the other suggestions - I agree with the previous poster that recommended The Fall. Amazing show. |
Oh, geez-yes, I binged this a while back. And Robbie Amell - damn |
|
I really enjoyed the following original series on Amazon Prime:
Carnival Row - steampunk fantasy noir, but your mileage may vary. Mozart in the Jungle - about professional concert musicians in NY Good Omens - the friendship between an angel and a demon as they grapple with the coming apocalypse (funny/sweet) The Boys - EXCELLENT - but super-violent and creepy |
Loved Mozart in the Jungle and Good Omens! Haven't seen the others you mention, but don't like getting too dark. Good Omens I wanted to rewatch almost immediately after finishing it. Also liked on Prime: Catastrophe - others mentioned Forever - I'm surprised I don't hear more about this one Fresh Meat (British, about college freshmen, mindless fun) Being Erica (Canadian, like free therapy, about going back to visit regrets in your past, funny and sweet, from 2009ish but still feels relevant) |
