On top of it, many schools are just not going to use video and will simply wait to see kids in person. It is a pretty mixed bag and the same thing can be accomplished without have to take a plane.

Use video of localized games and scrimmages while we are in a pandemic to avoid traveling far distances and possibly contributing to the spread of the virus.

Simple, if the game is just going to be streamed then just play locally. Find some clubs within a reasonable drive and do it that way.

The expense to travel when many schools are still not going to use the video is dumb especially when the dead period is ending in April anyway.

Save the travel dates for later when the dead period is actually over. Flying to play fill in the blank ECNL club to just be streamed when you could drive and play a more local fill in the blank ECNL team and do the exact same thing.

ok so back to the topic we are supposed to be discussing. Someone said the plan for ECNL games this winter was coming. Any update? Am I driving to NC in 10 days?

Show me where a showcase led to serious spreading. If you want to shut down travel then do so but be prepared for the economy to completely collapse.

Where have you been? The travel industry has collapsed along with other economic sectors. What a shitshow. Get some competence in charge, get prole to work together in a unified fight and kick this virus to the curb. The virus is thriving on the disorganized, polarized, chaotic response. It's not an "event" it is league games that are scheduled for the weekend of January 22nd. BRYC, Loudoun and McLean are all playing 2 different teams in NC that weekend. I have a DD on one of the teams and we have heard nothing. Anyone else?
