As a guy whose go to outfit for looking nice, but not like I'm going to court is a sweater (when weather appropriate), what should he have worn? Like what's the ideal date outfit for the sweater haters?

I'm wonder the same. I always thought a sweater was something more casual than a suit, but more formal than just a shirt
