Rachel, guided by Shannon, worked hard in the beginning sure, but now they all just get to phone it in. Emily made a serious ad the other day for her line being sold at Nordstrom that went like this: "Guys! I've got such BIG NEWS!! You can go on Nordstrom online and shop for Rachel Parcell collection, put a dress in your cart, and then when you're done you click on Brands and then IVL and you can put those in your cart too!" No joke, she seriously framed the idea of purchasing multiple different things from Nordstrom's webpage at once as something innovative. She wasn't saying you got a discount if you bought both at the same time. She wasn't saying hey you can get free shipping if you get your shopping cart up to X amount. Nope, she taught us all to put multiple items in our cart before checking out. She walked us through the steps of shopping online as if it were 1998. Rocket scientists these ladies are not. Plus, the brains behind Emily's line is Taylor. All Emily has to do is take the pretty pictures, and even those they half-ass. But, people like me who think they are trainwrecks still pay attention to them out of entertainment so they still have lots of reach and can make the $$. . |
why would the Montage bother to comp them? Do they really need more publicity from c-list celebs? |
| They are in Hawaii now and their mom got so thin it's crazy. She is thinner than her daughters. |
| Nope do not follow |
Yes, it’s tragic. |
Ooh who is the Rachel wannabe? I always wondering how construction allowed you to upgrade to a $4 million dollar house. |
| I follow Rachel. It disturbs me how much make up she puts on her daughter. I don’t understand how these people got rich. |
The dad is a builder does a lot of commercial real estate (malls and such) so has a ton of money. It's some tax scheme that Rachel and Emily live in what are basically spec houses for a few years before they're sold off, which is why they're constantly moving. They didn't pay for those homes, Papa Skalla built them. Rachel's last house was listed recently for like TEN million and sat, predictably, before they took it off market. Who pays 10 million for a house in some random subdivision in Utah with unfinished basement and rooms? |
The makeup and the poses... Isla is a very sexualized child. Rachel will definitely be getting her the requisite bolt ons and nose job as a teen, it's family tradition.

The mom has lost a ton of weight. I'm guessing Ozempic. |
| I forgot all about these people. I remember when one of the sisters was engaged to 2 different guys over the course of one summer. Big yikes. |
It is ozempic - they said it “saved her life” because she was pre-diabetic. All I know is that she is shocking to look at. I wonder if Rachel started too, she is also looking alarmingly skinny. I just think those poor young girls in the family have no chance at a healthy outlook about their bodies. |
Yes, it's Ozempic, but she also lost both her parents within a year so there is grief in there too. She looked really great a few months ago, and has now lost an extra 15 too many. I find that family absolutely fascinating: they seem so close, have so much money, never seem to really work, and they get so much plastic surgery. I wish they had a reality show, I'd watch. |
I think what's fascinating is that they're genuinely dumb as dirt and yet made a lot of money. They can't spell, they're culturally the most basic people on the planet, they are stunted and act like perennial teenagers (since they never had a teenage/early 20's life due to being married and pregnant by 21. And yet they randomly fell into a ton of money "influencing" before influencing was even a thing. |

A lot of their money was made from building and renovating Mormon temples (ie the recent renovation of the DC Temple) and developing land owned by the Mormon church. The Mormon church is the nation’s 5th largest landholder.
The Mormon Church has more money than God. It’s well known that the Mormon “royalty” uses temple and local church building as a legal way to funnel money to family members. The DC Temple was in fantastic shape. It did not need a two year top to bottom remodel, but it was a way to get money to certain families. https://www.sltrib.com/religion/2022/04/05/new-database-gives-widest/ |
