Or this one. Lovely, and not a burger king.

| We have a tiny, tiny galley kitchen. We still put in a 36 inch single bowl sink, the Blanco Super Single (in anthracite). We got one of those roll up dish drainers to go on top so no countertop drying rack. We can also put a board on top and use it for extra workspace if need be. It is absolutely amazing and I can’t believe how many small kitchen designers put in tiny tiny sinks. Small kitchens need that sink to be big enough to do double or triple duty! |

We wavered on getting a kitchen desk, but are so glad we did. Yes, it tends to collect clutter, but it's a great central location for keys, bills, school paperwork, family calendar, and now masks.
Also love my corner pantry, big steel sink, under cabinet lighting, 5 burner stove. |
| I totally disagree with the drawer microwave. I thought I would love it and I HATE it! Its slow to open and close, its hard to put bowls/mugs in and out without things spilling etc. |
| I need that pot-filler with that first kitchen. NWIH am I dragging a big heavy pot from the window sink! |
I like ours but agree about the opening and closing. I would get rid of one of my double ovens and put one of those microwave/convection thingies. |
We have the main sink (agree- big ass stainless steel undercounter) and a side sink at the bar (not on the island- I personally do not like). Side bar has coffee area and easy to fill dog water there. That's about all we use it for. We have filled it with ice and drinks for parties. |

We are also doing a kitchen reno and aren't splurging on much, but I did go with a microwave drawer and am very happy about that. We also got all new appliances, which was a splurge.
The thing I didn't get and kind of wish I had was a pull out/storage area for my Dyson stick vac. |
| I like to keep things simple so : smaller fridge, nothing on the island unless very large. Pull it drawers for everything. Pantry with pull out drawers or 2 of those. Cabinets 42”. Broom closet. So many very large things in the kitchen just fill up with clutter. |

we are italian and cook all the time/always in the kitchen.....so for my kitchen
at least 6 burner range 2 ovens super powerful hood/vent w/ warming shelf/lights pot filler (not sure you can have that with the warming tray though, I have the pot filler now and had the warming shelf in old house and miss it) built in microwave....hate having mine sit and take up counter space |

I love our microwave drawer. It's huge and it's easier to lift things in/out of it than the typical microwave that's higher. It's easy for the kids to use as well since it's at their level.
Have a proper vent hood that vents to outside. Love our large island with seating - the kids sit there while I cook so they're out of the way but still with me. I wish I had 2 dishwashers and will definitely get the Bosh when ours goes. My mom and our good friends have it and it's great. Be careful with high end appliances - they cost a fortune to fix (and they do break). Also, if you get appliances that aren't a more standard size, it's harder to find a replacement in the future. Ice/water in the door of a fridge are a mixed bag. Many are not that reliable and cause problems. Next time, I'm getting filtered water at the skin and just an ice maker inside the freezer. While I like the look of the dish soap dispenser integrated into the counter top, they're a bit fussy. You have to mix the concentrated soap with water or it doesn't work well. I would skip next time. We had 2 sinks in our kitchen growing up. We never used the second, smaller one. I think the key for these is placement - the second one needs to be away from the first one - like not in the same traffic pattern. I don't have 2 in my current kitchen and haven't had the desire to have one. Agree with PPs re: big drawers and big stainless steel sink. You need a zone in the kitchen to put stuff that's not the main work area. Think coffee maker, fruit bowl, bread, toaster oven. I can also clear that area off to be a serving area when having folks over. |
filtered water at the sink - not skin! Also - with little kids - think about where you will put stuff for them to be more self-sufficient. Our plates/bowls are in a drawer rather than an upper cabinet so they can unload the dishwasher and get themselves something to eat. While we have drinking glasses and mugs in an upper cabinet, we have kid plastic cups lower at their level. |

We bought a house with a pasta faucet and we never use it. The stove is 2 feet from the sink so moving a pot isn’t that far. And I eat low carb so we never make big pots of pasta. It’s just a useless item for us.

Everything about this is lovely except for the floor. Need to see more contrast there. |
