Montgomery County and Maryland are not necessarily the most left wing places (except for random pockets of socialists), but they are decidedly the most anti-Trump demographic. The DC metro area is very much pro-establishment, anti-populist left or right, very much in favor of predictable government as usual (for better or for worse) and Polite Society. Nobody here wants to blow up the government, because they probably work for the government. It’s the swamp that Trump supporters love to hate. Joe Biden’s back to normalcy campaign - MoCo is just eating that up. I could see him winning upwards of 80% here.

Laugh at Ficker all you want (something that us done all the time on this board) but he is the reason we have term limits. The only sane political thing to happen in Montgomery County in the last decade, and only after the property taxes were hijacked and abused by the Council as they gave themselves pay raises. Problem with Montgomery County is you are reactionary not proactive, it should not have taken that property tax increase or someone like Ficker to realize term limits "limit" power, but you keep destroying MC your way. It's happening a lot quicker than you will react to.

One of the two Trump signs was vandalized in my ultra lib neighborhood. The other one was placed inside of a window. Trump supporters have to be very brave to put a sign on their yard.

I am 100% anti trump and have an American flag I refuse to take down. Lots of houses in my neighbrohood do and it is a very liberal area some have a flag and a Biden sign.
