This is Paris documentary

I saw a very pained and humbled person tonight.

While still beautiful, up close one can see age creeping up on her.
No spoilers here ⚠️, but when she talked about her past experiences in her school in Provo as well as how it affected her in later years, I felt I really empathize w/her.

I also was sent away and have been physically abused by ex-boyfriends in my past.

This documentary is so real >>> It shows Paris in such a different light.

And now I have more respect than ever for her,
If you end up watching this....

Hopefully you will too.

Apparently Kim k convinced Paris to freeze her eggs, and she’s now ready to make offspring with her current squeeze, who she’s so deeply in love with (like every other man she’s been with)

Seriously how many times has she been engaged? The last one I read about I never heard of them breaking up, and now she's on to the next love of her life.

This. Seems like everyone is jumping on the trauma/victim train for publicity right now.

These former "it girls" - Paris, Britney, Lindsay, Jessica Simpson, etc are all pushing 40. The careers they built on being young and hypersexual are over, and their looks are starting to age accordingly. Seems about right they now have to sell books or documentaries to try and stay relevant.

You got me all excited about my favorite city....

I watched this morning. It's like a master class in how not to parent your child. Her mother is a piece of work. Talking about how her husband didn't actually inherit money and they had to work - lady, you're a socialize who lived in hotels! Just own your privilege.

And unless this happened off-camera, she never said "sorry." Just "If we had known, we would have been there in a minute." That's blaming Paris all over again - "Well, if you had spoken up..." Ugh, I wanted to punch her.

Paris' career could screech to a halt right now and her money is just going to make piles more money. 19 product lines? That's insane!

Her life seems empty and sad

Thank you for the advanced notice of this fine documentary.

Hello, friend! I just started watching Selling Sunset and when I saw Paris had a thing coming out I truly thought "I wonder if I'll be finished with Chrishell by mid-September to watch this thing. If not, I may have to cut back on my naps to make time."

Hello back friend. Yes I watched Selling Sunset and finished that season in one day. Plenty of time for Paris. I did not cut back on any naps.

Now I need a new show.

Her life seems empty and sad

She is a good looking woman. She needs a nice guy that will not use her for her wealth and fame.

I agree with Nicky that she should go on a nice vacation and relax. I think that could help with her nightmares.

But to even imagine that Paris had a traumatic childhood would take some strong convincing.

Her life was/is perfect!

I have no idea if her life was perfect or not but I hope your opinion is not based on the fact that she had money. That does not equal a perfect rosie childhood.

This. I think a lot of the qualities it takes to become rich are the same qualities that make for family dysfunction. There is a lot of narcissism among the rich and people don't understand sometimes the kids are just pawns expected to behave like perfect accessories. When they don't, there is hell to pay. You assume rich parents shower you with money. Often they do not. Sometimes they shower you with abuse, guilt, fear and a whole lot of other crazy and too often because they are rich they are immune to consequences. This is not to compare it any way to abuse that occurs at other SES levels, but there is absolutely tons of dysfunction and crazy among the rich. I liked how the TV show Shameless showed the rich families were as bat shit crazy as the poor ones, they just used money to cover it up.

I thought it was interesting that Kylie Richards said she thought there was too much focus on her appearance as a child and so many childhood clips showed her family asking her what movie star or celebrity she wanted to be. Kathy Hilton reminds me of the classic Stepford wife who needed her problem child to become someone else's problem. I'm not sure I believe her when she says "I didn't Know." She comes across as a woman who is still very much trying to save face.

Paris seems sad and lost, constantly hustling for "love" and trying to justify her own worth, striving to become a billionaire, even though she can't articulate why other than to say it will make her happy, which clearly it will not. Her sister seems relatively grounded and for lack a better word: normal. I think she hit the nail on the head when she said she is contstantly surrounded by "yes people" and not many people tell her the truth.

Aging is not going to be easy for Paris because her livelihood is based on her looks and this feels like "love" to her. She can't have an equal partner in a boyfriend so she's stuck with these going nowhere, jealous types who are happy to follow her around because they have nothing better to do. Emotionally she seems stunted and very much child-like. It's sad. I hope she is able to find peace.
