Well if YOUR SISTER did it then it must be the best idea ever. No. Nobody should be having kids until their pre-frontal cortex has finished developing, and they've had time to figure out who they are as an ADULT. And especially once you've gotten married - you should take time to solidify your marriage and figure out who you are as a husband/wife before adding a baby to the mix.

For thousands of years females regularly had children at age 14-17, so to argue that a female younger than 25 is biologically incapable of raising a child is absurd. And females are most fertile at Bindi's age.

Pregnancy if you're under 20 is risky.

No it's not. Having a baby in your late teens is one of the healthiest ages to do so. Both for the mom and the baby.

Maybe physically but, mentally you might not be ( can't speak for all teenagers) but, for the most part this is the time you think of yourself. Once you have a kid you have to put their needs above yours. You are only young once and I want my kids to enjoy life while they are young!

Some people enjoy being married and being a young mom or dad. Not everyone wants nights at a club and boozy brunches at 22.

But everyone should spend time learning who they are as part of a married couple before bringing a baby into the mix. They should go to museums and aquariums and concerts and street fairs and do various things other than the ONE THING they've ONLY EVER DONE their ENTIRE LIVES.

Which of those things you listed did you do as a couple that helped you figure out who you were “as a married couple”? Those sound like they were so damned life changing street fairs!

I still think of the little baby following her dad around. They're very young, but it isn't impossible.

Since they're already married and the baby is coming why not just wish them the best?

Are you new here? That’s not what is done on this site.

She actually has very limited life experience. She's dated exactly one person. She's only ever worked in one area. She has NO friends. Her brother and mother aren't her best friends - they are her only friends. She's traveled, but only in the context of animal stuff (except for her Dancing With the Stars stint).

How could you possibly know that she has no friends?

No friends came to see her at DWTS, no friends were helping her plan her wedding, she talked about being sad zoo people couldn't be at her wedding but never mentioned any friends at all. She's never once posted on social media about any girlfriends.

She's spent her entire life being homeschooled--she never attended regular school, which is where most people meet their friends.

Dude you both know a WHOLE LOT about the daughter of a deceased animal planet celebrity. Do YOU have any friends?

Anderson Cooper didn't adopt. He bought his baby through surrogacy and egg donation. Wyatt is his kid biologically and won't ever know either of his mothers. And yes, a single person at 50 is too old. Sorry Hoda!

Please enlighten me with the exact age that society shall deem appropriate for someone to become a parent!!

29 to 33 according to DCUM. Two kids in that window, spaced exactly 3 years apart. Preferably one girl and one boy.

Perfect!

20/21 year olds do not have degrees
I do know of college students with a baby though. Some say college is a good time to have one. You will not need to disrupt a career for a baby and we are actually designed to biologically have kids at that age

Considering it seems 95 % od DCUM has miserable marriages, perhaps they shouldn't be giving advice our using their lives as a blueprint.

Did I not predict this in the original Bindi wedding thread?

She’s Britney Spears all over again...without the fortune.

Britney by the way had the breakdown that had her put into conservatorship at 25. 3 years after marrying at 22. 2 years after giving birth at 23.

How far along is she? She got married back in March, it's now August.

Ah, DCUM, where posters cannot see that not everyone lives their life within the narrow filter that they seem to think everyone should live within.

I know this will come as a shock, but not everyone thinks your version of a perfect life is perfect. Not everyone is ridden with the anxiety of “finding themselves” - some people know who exactly who they are, and are perfectly living their life on their terms, not your terms for them.

Bindi and her family appear to be more stable than Britney and her family ever were.
