Depends on how you act. |
Great choices. I have both two, but the models that are fun to drive. The Porsche is 45 years old and the BMW 20 years old. I didn’t buy them for status but appreciation for history and how they drive. |
| I drive a Range Rover . I’ve never noticed anyone looking at me weird because if it. I’ve never really noticed anyone caring . No I don’t feel awkward or self conscious driving it. |
Exactly. I’d rather buy one of these proper cars than some front wheel drive Toyota or Honda that feels like it’s made out of aluminum cans. |
| I side eye those that drive fancy luxury cars but send their kids to crappy public schools. |
You're side eyeing me, then! And life is great, baby! Don't worry about my family, worry about yourself my friend! |
Same here. Keep kidding yourself that your child is getting a better education just because you paid more for it. |
| not all public schools are great same goes with privates |
| I believe that if you feel awkward when you drive a car, it means it is not your car, in the sense that it doesn't represent you. I bought myself a Toyota Soarer, and the only time I felt awkward was when I had to buy it, because none of my friend had driven one before and I wasn't sure about the idea. Went online and found https://www.jdmbuysell.com/buying-guide/toyota-soarer/ which actually was very helpful, because there was all the information no one else could've told me. That's why I don't think that people who drive fancy expensive cars feel awkward. |
+1. Public school, baby! |
Honestly... +1. |
One or two $1,000-1,500 car notes or lease payments is nothing to sneeze at. |
same here! |
what? I drive a Cayenne and my note is not even more than 800, had a merc SUV prior to that and it was not more than 600 |
