Random poll: Do you keep a glass of water by your bedside?

Anonymous
No. I usually drink water before going to bed and rarely wake up during the night.
Anonymous
Not since I was eight years old.

My cats are jerks, so it’s a water bottle, but yes.

I keep two glasses of water by my bedside. I have some supplements I eat at night before sleeping and I drink one glass of water then. I drink another glass of water as soon as I wake up in the morning. I am 55 yr old woman. I do not feel thirsty or go to the bathroom at night.

Yes, and it always feels weirdly indulgent when I am away from home and can leave an open water glass out, not worrying about the cats getting into it.

Yes, I do! And it’s weird because I asked myself this question, like, today! Growing up, we didn’t have central air, but a whole house attic fan. It would get ot, but not dry. I cannot make it though the night in my house without water. My mouth is like a desert. Also, our house is clean, but I can detect dust overnight. Covered water bottle is ideal.

Best part of DCUM, hearing about different products. Just googled “hydroflask”. Who knew?

I have a Yeti - so awesome. Ice cold water in the AM. I carry it with me everywhere!

I always keep an insulated tumbler with a lid at my bedside. I'm not afraid of "overnight dust" (how dusty IS your house?), but I do occasionally knock it over in the middle of the night, and I like that the insulation keeps the water cold and keeps the glass from sweating.

I used to use water bottles, but I've found they're difficult to clean thoroughly.

Yes. There's no ice in my bathroom, and my kitchen is a hike from my bedroom.

I used to, till I found my cat drinking from it. Now i go thirsty.

I keep a water bottle on my nightstand, and as a result I get up and go the the bathroom a couple times a night.

Funny -- I don't ever drink water from the bathroom tap.

No. Didn't even know it was a thing.

My daughter got me the version with the straw lid and it’s the best thing ever! When I’m lying in bed I don’t even have to worry about twisting off a top, spilling water over myself by missing my mouth a bit, tilting my head back, etc. Just put my mouth on and sip! And yes the coldness is GREAT.

Yes. Glass of water or bottled.
