My 4 year old even goes to bed with a water bottle and has for like 2 years. I got tired of her complaining about being thirsty at night.

No but it’s also not that hard to get some water to keep at your bedside before you go to bed. I have always kept water on my bedside table. My husband and both kids do too. I guess we all tend to get thirsty during the night and/or right before going to sleep and first thing in the morning.

Yes a full glass oF water fresh every night and I usually drink most of it by morning

No. But I do have a pitcher with cup in the master bathroom.

The only time I need water in the middle of the night is on weekends after a few glasses of wine. 99% of the time I don't ever wake up in the middle of the night at all. (I have trouble going to sleep, but staying asleep isn't a problem)

My 4 year old has been potty trained since 18 months. But if I flood her with water (she likes milk at night though) or give her a water at bed, she pees the bed. We never, ever let her have anything past 7pm.
