Should we buy a Honda Pilot vs Toyota Highlander and why?

Toyota hands down. We had major issues with our Honda and had to trade it in after 3 yrs.
Our Toyotas are going strong plus the new redesigned 2020 Highlander looks amazing!

This. We have a pilot and are very happy with it. I had previously Hondas so just went with a Honda.
