Maybe i'm a sucker, but I don't mind the Holdernesses. I have an acquaintance who also does viral parenting videos and hers are WAY cringe-ier and less funny, so I guess my bar is pretty low.

Try-hard and attention seeking are always turnoffs.

Agree but that is not saying much.

They are fuggies to begin with and on top of that no makeup, sweats, and resting bitch face.

I love the Halloween one that is to the tune of Gin and Juice.

So many jealous people in this thread.

I never heard of them until quarantine. I really enjoyed their Billie Jean parody. Made me laugh and was very clever. They seem nice and fun loving.

I agree I liked their stuff at first but now I find it trying to hard. They are probably trying to make money from their videos so there’s probably pressure.

I don’t like how they use their kids in their videos. Just by having them in them for such broad public consumption, it just seems exploitative and wrong.

Also, their house is typical Raleigh/Durham Style Love it or List it House porn for us DC area folks who are living in 1/2 the size house for twice the price.

He’s in his 40’s, I find it surprising he was in acapella groups in college. That really wasn’t a thing in the 90’s.

Haha. They absolutely were. I’m in my 40’s and was in a group and they definitely were a thing. There were college competitions and everything. Just bc you didn’t hear of them until Pitch Perfect doesn’t mean they didn’t exist before the movie!

Totally. Can’t believe people think acapella is only popular because of Pitch Perfect. There were 4-5 groups at my college in the 90s.

+1

We had several a cappella groups at my college in the 90s. At least one of those had been around since the 1940s.

Very common at top schools in the Northeast.

So lame for people to use their amazing musical talents! College should be all about football, underage drinking, and Greek life, just like God intended!
